LOWER HUON RIVER AND PORT CYGNET CRUISE
About this event
The Lower Huon and Port Cygnet cruise is set for Saturday 14th January, please let us know if you wish to tag along - seeing some of the beautiful parts of our cruising grounds. Whilst we still await the Cruise Contact announcement no itinerary has been set as yet.
Suggestions so far are to meet up in Cygnet and check out the Folk Festival that weekend. The bakery, butcher and pubs in town are worthy of a visit. The tide is rising in the afternoons so a good time to head off to Franklin and up to Huonville. The Wooden Boat Centre along with the Living Boat Trust, the patisserie and the pub in Franklin are recommended, and the jetty in Huonville gives easy access to the many local shops. Yes, plenty to do to fill in the 7 day cruise.
