We will be focusing our clean up on the shores of Simpsons point in Isthmus Bay as this area has little road access and The weather is looking good for a clean up in Isthmus bay. We plan to meet on the shore 10am Saturday near Aitkens Point and hopefully clean up the area between Simpsons point and the Boat ramp in Simpsons bay. It is an area we have covered in the past, but also an area which hasn’t been covered by “North Bruny Land and Coast Care” as there is not much road access to this area.
The plan would be to meet up for a sundowners and BYO BBQ on shore later that arvo and return to home ports Sunday


It’s the time of year when we think about cleaning up the environment we all love to enjoy.
The date for this WE has been changed as it clashed with the Bass straight circumnavigation. The plan would be to meet where the weather will allow us to anchor somewhere in Simpson’s Bay Area on Saturday 23rd at 10.00am to distribute bags and divide the area to be covered.
At the end of the day we will reconvene for a BBQ on shore following a day of scouring coastline.
We also hope to have a group on land in Barnes Bay Area.
